We wereset up in 1978, and since then have been raising resources to protect the&amp;#160;rights of India's elderly&amp;#160;and provide relief to them through various interventions.&amp;#160;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;HelpAgeIndia&amp;#8217;s healthcare programme cater to specific healthcare needs associated withold age has been pioneered since 1982 with the concept of Mobile Medicare Units(MMU) programme that seeks to take healthcare to the doorstep of theneedy.&amp;#160; Today, the MMU programme, represents a flagship programme and is recognized as the largest such mobile healthcare service in the Asia as per thethe Limca Book of Records.&amp;#160;Presently,the mobile fleet of more than 80 MMUs annually provide 1.75 million treatmentsand basic healthcare services to around 2 lacs elderly at more than 870community locations across 21 states. 90 districts in India&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;HelpAge India is currently planning to expand its MMU programmeto more districts in the India and thereby increase HI&amp;#8217;s outreach in India&amp;#8217;smost poor and difficult areas.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;In this endeavor we are looking for consulting agencies/ firmswho can provide us technical assistance in conducting technical studies forsite selection and in conducting baseline survey of poor and needy householdsin the identified locations.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Interested agencies willing to work anywhere in India arerequested to send in their detailed proposal and financial quotes in sealedenvelopes clearly marking&amp;#160;&amp;lt;Proposalfor Site Identification and Baseline survey of beneficiary households&amp;gt;,&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Sealed proposals received prior to the time and date specifiedabove. Zonal Office&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#8226;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;Identifyingthe villages in the proposed MMU location in consultation with local sponsorofficials and HI team (wherever necessary)&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#8226;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;Visiting MMUlocation and all identified villages in each location in order to preparedetailed operational plan (site schedule).&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#8226;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;Activeconsultation with the major stakeholders in the identified villages to elicittheir opinion regarding inclusion of their village in the project andsoliciting their active participation during the implementation period of theproject, i.e. three years&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#8226;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;ConductingBaseline Survey in each location consisting of a number of villages or&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#8226;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;GramPanchayats (GPs) by recruiting local investigators/surveyors in order to arriveat the exact number of elders in each village and location (combination of manyGPs/villages)&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#8226;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;Identifyingcentral locations in consultation with HI and sponsor for establishing theproject office where the MMU staff would gather, stocks would be kept, recordswould be maintained and MMU would be parked during non-functioning days andhours.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#160;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Methodology to be adopted:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#8226;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;&amp;#160;Meeting andConsultation with key stakeholders i.e.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#8226;&amp;#160;Regional/Localsponsor HR and CSR Coordinators&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;font color="#339966"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&amp;#8226;&amp;#160;Panchayatleaders &amp;amp; PACS covers 90 districts in five states- Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh &lt;/font&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;font color="#008080"&gt;The seven year programme (2009-2016) supports civil society organisations (CSOs) promoting inclusive policies, programmes and institutions at local, district and state levels. PACS targets socially excluded groups: scheduled castes (SCs), scheduled tribes (STs), Muslim minorities, women, girls and people with disability (PwD). IFIRST is led by Christian Aid, along with Caritas India, Indian Institute of Dalit Studies, ACCESS Development Services, and Financial Management Services Foundation.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;font color="#008080"&gt;PACS is keen on partnering and supporting inclusive business models for improvement of livelihood for socially excluded groups in its identified intervention districts\states, which can demonstrate sustainable impact in terms of enhancement of income and skills of the targeted households.
